I have been in the hospitality business for 10 years, I have seen good djs and bad djs. I recently had the pleasure of working very
closely with Adrian Peters from A&M Sounds Disc jockey Service at the Oakwood resort for a wedding. The bride and groom had nothing to say but great things the next morning about how well their big day was. This had a lot to do with how well Adrian was able to read the crowd and keep everyone in the room happy and dancing until the very end.
He even had to do an encore! If he was able to keep playing he would have. He did not miss a single second of timing when it came to the grand entrance, first dance, mother son song, father daughter or cake cutting song.
At Oakwood we have DJ's we recommend to our clients. I honestly wish I would have seen Adrian perform earlier. We plan on working with Adrian in the near future and will be recommending him to our future clients.

Where do I start. We hired Adrian for our wedding on July 4th to perform at both the ceremony and the reception. To say we were very pleased would be a huge understatement. Adrian went above and beyond to ensure that the entire day ran smoothly and that we had the perfect day we were hoping for. His timing and quality of songs during the ceremony was perfect. At the reception he played music that kept all ages on the dance floor throughout the entire night!
Many of our guests made comments on how smoothly the night went and how much fun they had. Adrian definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for being a huge part of our day! I know a few of our guests will be talking to you about future services!

Adrian set us up with Steve who was the DJ for our wedding - and it was an absolute delight to work with them both! Everything from planning to the day of, everything went perfectly and Steve had everyone engaged and dancing on the dance floor all night long. The music timing and cuing for the ceremony went off without a hitch, and thanks to Adrian or setting a plan to make sure everyone knew what was playing when. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding, and the music had a lot to do with it. Everyone at one point during the wedding said "great music" and I thank A&M sounds for that. - Meg & Julian

Great job. I have never enjoyed a dance more. Just when I thought I could sit a song out to rest, another great song would come on that I would HAVE to dance to. A common thought throughout the crowd.

Adrian was a professional who acted as much more than a DJ at our wedding. He was able to help keep our timeline going throughout the day and night so that it flowed as it should. Making well informed decisions on the fly to ensure our day was perfect. He went above his duty to make sure our lights on the tent worked behind our head table to ensuring the slideshow was working and grabbing drinks for the head table. He was able to keep the dance floor packed the entire night making for a great atmosphere. It was exactly what I had pictured for the dance floor at my wedding and he was able to make it happen. Overall, a worthwhile investment in our wedding day.

Wow!!! Adrian was our DJ for our wedding, Sept 24th....correction, Adrian basically ran the show that day, including taking on the role of Emcee!!! His knowledge was incredibly helpful from the moment we had our consultation. He spoke of things and brought things to our attention that, to be honest I doubt we would have even considered. It's very evident that this has been his passion for 32+ years, and for that we are grateful! We are proud to say that soooo many people told us our wedding was the best wedding they had ever attended!!! The atmosphere was filled with positive energy, immense love and a dash of humour. When the reception began, Adrian was always there offering to get us anything we might have needed. He ensured the staff of the hall carried our plates in order to not spill on ourselves. He offered us water or wine throughout our meal...much appreciated. The dance floor was packed the entire night!!! Our friends and family had the time of their lives and we couldn't have been happier with his service! We both admire Adrian for his expertise and kindness, and will always recommend A & M Sounds to anyone we know!!! Keep up the great work Adrian!!!

Dear Adrian,
Thank you so much for providing our DJ services for our wedding. Without you I do not think that our night would have been complete or run as smoothly as it did. When we first set our budget we didn't think about the cost of a DJ and fit it in as an extra. After meeting you at one of the bridal shows I really considered how much music actually matters.
We had a very small DIY wedding and not a huge budget. When we first spoke you talked about the importance of the right DJ and offered advice to selecting one and what we can expect. We interviewed a few DJ's but I kept coming back to your name. We reworked our budget to make sure we got the best of the best. We were not wrong. We saw the importance of music at a wedding and realized that the budget can be fixed to accommodate priorities.
Everything from the lists of top songs to the emcee itineraries and everything we needed music selected for made our decisions just that much easier. The entire night went smoothly. You made sure the music flowed with the events and that my husband and I were where we needed to be at the right times. Our guests raved about your service and how we did well with our choice. There was always someone on the dance floor until the very end of the night.
We could not be more happy with everything and so grateful for all of your help. I will continue to recommend you to everyone we know getting married.

Nice to have a DJ that is talented and savvy enough to feel the crowd and who gets the sense of what makes them move - Doug Tarry's DJ (Adrian) for his 50th Birthday at the St Thomas Railway Station did exactly that.

He was also our MC (which he was not aware of that until the day of!) and was amazing at that, just rolled with it.

Adrian was the disc jockey at our New Years Eve Wedding 2013. Prior to the wedding date Adrian took the time to meet with us individually and understand our taste in music. He was very familiar with our venue and provided a number of helpful recommendations, which made the night run very smoothly. Throughout the evening he worked with our MC's seamlessly to make our wedding a memorable event for all our guests.

Adrian blew both of us away with his level of professionalism and care. He made himself available to chat on the phone whenever I had questions and since he had done multiple weddings at our venue he was so knowledgeable and was often reminding me of things that I should ask or look into.
Adrian performed our ceremony and took care of the entertainment for the entire night. His recommendation on the red uplighting was something that our photographer truly loved and our guests are still talking about how it brought the room together. He worked with our EMCEE's and ensured that everything went smoothly.
Adrian really knows how to read a crowd and he read ours perfectly. He played music all night that had people up on the dance floor and made sure there was music for all tastes. My parents are still talking about how much they loved the music. They recently went to another wedding with some fellow guests from our wedding and came back disappointed that the DJ at the wedding they went to only played Top 40's music for the younger crowd. They have been telling everyone how impressed they were with Adrian's services at our wedding.
