A&M Sounds knows that with your wedding or any special event, making
sure your guests are happy and the event runs smoothly, is one of your
biggest priorities. That's why we feel that choosing a DJ who's
professional, experienced and who you can trust to be the one to help with important decisions that need to be made with your planning.
A&M sets our service apart by helping you with song choices, making sure
speeches are crystal clear, that guests are dancing, and that we have
expert control of the evening with the right equipment and music
selection. A professional disc-jockey can read a crowd and play the
right music at the right time to create an unforgettable evening.

A & M Sounds is an Ontario
Professional DJ Service. We offer Master of Ceremony services,
cordless microphones, microphone stands, wedding ceremony music, table
podiums, satellite systems for surround sound capability, GFCI cords for outdoor events, 3-foot up lighting bars for color accenting, outdoor 100 foot extension cords, whisper generators ,32 inch flat screens for unobtrusive dvd presentation at the sign in table, computer cables to supply sound for slide show presentations and
more. We strive to provide and do all those little things for your event
that make the difference.
All items or services in bold must be pre-booked to guarantee their availability.
How do I book an event?
You can call us or e-mail us the details.
We encourage at least 1 conversation in person before booking to insure.
we are a good fit for your day and that we have all the proper details to quote your event.
We can e-mail you or mail you a contract ,better yet we can meet up and exchange deposit
for the event within 3 days of the meeting to
confirm the date.
We accept cash, cheque, credit card, e-mail banking or bank draft for initial deposit.
A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to hold any date.
Please keep in mind we are the busiest company in the area so we can not save dates.

What makes up the pricing for an evening?
First of all years of experience. The more experience the company has the higher the price.
Equipment and selection of music.
Whether the business is a full time or part-time business
Level of participation required by company.
The area in which the company is based.
Travelling to and from the venue as well as the ease of set up in the venue.
You may book an event from 5pm-1am which sounds like 8 hours but before you arrive
and after the day is over we are still there making up as much as a 14 hour day from start to
finish plus travelling.

The general wedding takes between 15-25 hours of preparation, e-mail or phone conversation, set up,
tear down, usually the entire day of the wedding is devoted to the event.

Cancellation Policy
Initial deposit of $150 is non-refundable
If for any reason the event is cancelled with less than 60 days of the event full payment is
required of the contract that is signed
Packages, details and other options:
Equipment set up and tear down are outside of the time frame that you book and is not
charged to you.
You only pay for the time we are actually scheduled to play music.
Wedding
packages:
What is the difference between a wedding disc-jockey and a disc-jockey? Not everyone can
classify them as a wedding disc-jockey
A wedding disc-jockey has knowledge of timing, flow, sound requirements for ceremonies and speeches.
They will know the variety of music needed to please up to 5 generations of guests and will be able
to fit in appropriate requests for dancing as well. Helping with the logistics of the dinner speeches
and cutting of the cake to create a flow comes with years of experience and can make for a successful
event. We have 25 years of expertise in the wedding industry.
Pricing varies from event to event
Every wedding is has different needs and for that reason we must speak to you on the phone or
in person to insure we are quoting you correctly for all the variables that may be involved.
Our flex-package gives you complete control of creating the perfect time frame for your day.
For weddings you can add a ceremony package at the last minute or take off an hour that is not needed.
Your first step is to book our services for the date you require, we can wait until the final week before
the event to confirm proper times.
Extras may be applied if you require extra sound for the venue, extra microphones, ceremonies
This is one industry you must do your homework before booking.
Most times we are there for the entire event, starting with ceremony or cocktails before the
ceremony, cocktails before dinner. Providing sound for the grand entrance, speeches, dinner music,
cutting of the cake, specialty dances and of course the dance in the evening.
We can provide extra sound as a satellite system so the sound is even throughout rather that loud in 1 spot and quiet in another.

-Pricing may vary depending on sound system requirements, indoor or outdoor ,extra wiring or set up fees
-1 free hour of cocktail music may be available on Friday and Sunday weddings depending on how busy we are.
-1 free hour of dinner or cocktail music can also be applied to our off season which is January to March
-We also offer discounted wedding reception packages through the week

Flexibility of packages:
Your day may change time frames a lot between booking your
disc-jockey and the day of the wedding, Keep in mind as long as you
confirm the date we can work with you and accommodate any time frame and
requirements for equipment right up to the week of your special day. Sit
back and rest assure you are in good hands with A&M Sounds.
You can choose an early finish time for your event with the option to add extra time at $70 per hour plus tax.
Please keep in mind the busy season for weddings is May-October and for this we may have restrictions
for certain types of events
Ceremony packages: Add-ons to create a full day
This consists of a full sound system ,wireless
microphone with optional stand ,music detailing and timing for the event starting
at $200 for 1- 1/2 hours if reception is also booked.
We can also provide sound systems for on-site as well as off-site ceremonies which allows for a smooth transition from the ceremony area to the reception area.
We now offer stand alone ceremony packages which allows you to get the high quality of sound you
deserve for your ceremony even if you are not having a reception to follow. Limited spaces are available.
The following factors are required before pricing can be determined:

Amount of wireless microphones requested -2 is alloted for all events ,more is added fee
Live instrument tie in to board
Travel
Length of time requested- we base the time for sound is 1.5 hours from guest arriving to end of ceremony,
additional hours can be added if available at time of booking.

Pre-bridal dinners and Day after wedding parties:
We can also provide entertainment the day before for a nice relaxes event with music when needed to create a relaxed atmosphere or after the wedding is over the day or week party when you have people out by the pool or have that wonderful luncheon and want to reminisce about
the great night. We can make it complete , find out how affordable this
is?
Up lighting-
This is the newest addition to create a beautiful atmosphere
 
 
This is used behind backdrops to tie in with the wedding colors as well or backdrops for cakes or a
safety mechanism later in the night by
eliminating the white light and still having some light to see the perimeter of the venue.
The first picture is to show some of the colors available which can be lighter or darker depending on
your preference.
The second is an example of a wedding we did in November 2010 where this was part of her color
pattern which created a nice setting for the night.

Thank you!......there are many ways of expressing this term. The best way to prove it to your staff
is by booking a professional who will not.
only play your favorite songs but create some fun with games to give out your door prizes too.
We can play music for cocktails, dinner music or just the dance portion (set up fee may apply) of your night.
We've created a
special holiday package for all new customers to thank you for

Due to this supply and demand season pricing will be according to when you book your event and availability

Wakes and Funerals
The celebration of life can be performed in many ways.
We can provide proper sound systems for the service as well as after the funeral, we can detail the style of music played that the family wishes.ht setting to A Relaxed setting to allow your guests to understand that life is a "present" and living it to the maximum is what is important.
Celebrating the good times with fellowship, music (whether it is cocktail style volume or a dance atmosphere) is completely up to you.
We will be professional and courteous to your guests and will dress according to your wishes.
Packages start at as little as 2 hours and can be sculpted to meet your needs.
